Apres Death Cafe

Apres - French for After - Apres Death Cafe - is an open group discussion about Life after Death, and conversations that have been started in a social setting with its focus on sharing stories of grief and loss and death.

The Death Cafe was started by the Swiss sociologist and anthropologist Bernard Crettaz who organized the first Cafe Morte in 2004. Jon Underwood a British web designer was inspired by the format and established the Death Cafe as a social franchise with tea and cake and talks around death at its core in 2011.
